Most of us would have played the game Roller Coaster Tycoon in our childhood. It was an interesting, and fun packed game. The game was developed by Chris Sawyer and was published by Hasbro Interactive. For those who are new to the game Roller Coaster Tycoon, I must tell you that it is a construction management simulation game with an amazing physics engine. Basically the game needs you to build bigger and better roller coasters. The first version of the game was released for windows platform in March 1999. Little History about Play Roller Coaster Tycoon:
The original game developer Chirs Sawyer actually wanted to make a sequel of his previous game Transporter Tycoon, but somehow the idea of roller coasters came to his mind. And he dropped the idea of making a sequel of his previous game and treated this one as a new project.
The game was entirely written in the assembly language but to interface it with the Windows OS some functions of ‘C’ language were also used. After this game became a huge success and Sawyer received $30 million from the publisher company.
GamePlay:
This game is all about building roller coasters tracks and collecting all the stars and coins coming in the way. The game offers different tools like the pencil tool, up track tool, steep drop tool, loop, down the track and steep incline tool to create the roller coaster tracks. All these tools help you to construct roller coaster tracks through the coins and stars. You can use pencil lines to create the tracks and in case of any steep slopes or turns you can use the special tools. During the initial levels the game does not offer all the tools but as you get into higher levels special tools become available.
You get extra stars for collecting thrill coins. Thrill coins totally depend on the riding experience of your visitors. The game also shows you demos for the correct usage of each tool. The online version of the game has 21 levels and three different scenarios.
