Few months back Facebook was the market leader in the social networking arena but now after the introduction of Google Plus things have changed. No doubt that if you go with numbers Facebook still rules the market with 750 million active users but if we have a look on the rate of growth then there is no comparison to the success of Google Plus. In mere 3 weeks it has got more than 20 million active users. And that’s a big number.
The War Between The Social Networking Giants |
I believe people at Facebook won’t be sitting ideal and they won’t let Google plus steal the show so easily. So, get ready to see a war between these social networking giants.
Below I have presented an infographic that depicts this clash of titans.

If you have a habit of printing webpages then chrome would not have have been a good choice for you earlier. But now google has done its homework and this time they are back with chrome 13. Now in chrome 13 you can print webpages more efficiently. This enhancement is print preview in google chrome.
Chrome 13 is different because it has a special feature that uses a built in PDF plugin to convert the page you want to print into a pdf file and along with it there is also another feature that shows the print preview of the page.
Print Preview in Google Chrome 13 |
If you hit Ctrl+P in chrome 13 a nifty frame opens up on the right side of the browser, giving you all sorts of options to print the page as you like. This improved print functionality also allows you print a two sided copy, hence helps in saving paper too.
Well I can’t wait anymore! And I am thinking to try this out soon.

How to make Firefox Transparent

Firefox is undoubtedly one of the best browsers in the world and my personal favourite. But despite of its cool features and superb addons it has lagged behind in looks. I mean if you don’t use any themes for firefox you are bound to feel it dull and boring. Today I am going to guide you on how to make firefox transparent.
In the default firefox theme the top title bar looks transparent and the rest of the browser looks solid. And I feel this looks really awkward. So, lets get started.
New Transparent Look for Firefox |
I prefer this addon to any theme because it gives an Aero glassy effect to the Firefox toolbar and the best part is that it preserves the look of the icons, tabs etc. So, now you can have a transparent browser and I bet you will love it.
You can download this addon here:

Are you a power facebooker?? Do you have many friends on facebook and want to know who among your friends has unfriended you?? Well today I am going to guide you on how to know who unfriended you on facebook.
As we all know, Facebook is lacking this feature and it doesn’t bother notifying you that who has unfriended you. But by using some simple hacks you can keep a track of people who have unfriended you on facebook.
First Way:- The first solution is a greesemonkey script called Unfriend Finder for Facebook that you can integrate with your browser and it will notify you whenever anyone unfriends you on facebook. The only problem with the script is that it only supports few browsers like firefox, opera, chrome and safari. This script adds an Unfriends menu to your Facebook sidebar and an Unfriends link to the top right side of your account.
- Chrome users can get it here
- Firefox users can get it here. But they need to have Greesemonkey script already installed.
- Opera users can get it here

- Simply go to the website and click the button that says Login with facebook.
- Now you will be prompted by facebook connect to allow the app to acess your account info. Click on “Allow and use”.
- From now onwards whenever anyone unfriends you on facebook you will receive an email notification for that.
!! Happy facebooking !!

Hulu a streaming video site have publicized that they have discovered some loopholes in facebook.
Previously, Hulu had announced that they have come up with a new feature that allows Hulu users to comment on a specific instant within a video. Both the comment and the portion of the video can be shared on your Facebook profile by clicking a button on the video player’s page. This feature uses facebook connect. Connect is a service that lets Facebook users log into third-party services using their Facebook account information.
Copyright- Venturebeat |
But shortly after launching their Facebook Connect feature they noticed that a small number of users were seeing someone else’s account information upon logging in to their accounts through the feature. The company said that highly sensitive information such as account passwords or credit card numbers should not be compromised as a result of a bug.
Hence, Hulu said it won’t roll out Facebook Connect integration to the site again until the company can ensure that privacy breaches won’t occur in the future.
